Metal, Electronics, and Clothing Recycling

This coming weekend is our annual Metal, Electronics, and Clothing Recycling Extravaganza. Have a good look around your house (and your neighbours) for any unused items which may be donated to this popular fund raiser. This is a great opportunity to get rid of all sorts of things which you know you'll never use again.

School Council Meeting on Monday

Parents are reminded of the School Council Meeting on Monday, May 27th beginning at 6:45 pm. Childcare is provided by Grade 8 students. All are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Track and Field Meet

Our Track and Field meet is scheduled for Thursday, May 23rd. The plan is to go ahead with the meet even if there is light rain. Be assured we will not have the children outdoors if there is heavy rainfall, or a thunderstorm. Please be sure your children have lots of water to drink, sunscreen, a hat, and an extra pair of socks. Thanks to all who are volunteering to help make this a successful school event.

Volunteers Needed

Our Metal Recycling Fundraiser will be the weekend of Friday, May 31st to Sunday, June 2, 2013. 

We are needing more parent volunteers that can do a shift on one of these days.

Shifts are:
Friday, May 31:  4:00 - 7:30 PM

Saturday, June 1:  9:00 - 11:30 AM   or 11:30 AM - 2:00 PM

Sunday, June 2:  9:00 - 11:30 AM or 11:30 - 2:00 PM.

Please call and let the office know if you can sign up for one of these shifts.

Tonight's School Council Meeting is CANCELLED

The School Council meeting has been rescheduled to  Monday, May 27^th due to School Council member illnesses. The meeting will run from 6:30- 8:30 p.m. If you would like childcare please Mrs. Hannon know so that student helpers can be requested to help out for the meeting. We look forward to seeing you at our last School Council meeting of the year!

Welcome Mrs. Jamieson

A warm welcome is extended to Mrs. Mary Jamieson who becomes Osler's new Administrative Assistant beginning tomorrow. It will be very different not seeing Mrs. Sturdy in the office, but we look forward to a long, and positive experience with Mrs. Jamieson.
